Lupe mit sechseckiger Fassung, mit Handgriff, zur seitlichen (fokalen) Beleuchtung bei der Untersuchung des vorderen Bulbusabschnittes. Man kann dann schon mehr erkennen als bei bloßer Inspektion im gewöhnlichen diffusen Licht.
