Bei dieser von Charles Spiro konstruierten Zeigerschreibmaschine befinden sich die Schriftzeichen auf einem senkrecht stehenden Typenrad. Sie stammt aus dem Jahr 1885 und wurde von der Columbia Typewriter Company in New York hergestellt.
