Description

Die 20. Handball-Weltmeisterschaft der Männer wurde vom 19. Januar bis zum 4. Februar 2007 in Deutschland ausgetragen. Aus diesem Anlass wurde der Stadt Halle (Westf.) von der International Handball Federation (IHF) ein Wimpel überreicht.

Siehe in diesem Zusammenhang auch 2023/027/010 und 2023/027/002.

Auf der in dunklem blau gehaltenen, in goldener Farbe umrandeten Vorderseite ist in goldener Schrift "International Handball Federation" sowie das Logo des IHF aufgebracht, ein goldener Handball in Verbindung mit den in weiß aufgesetzten Buchstaben "IHF".

Auf der weißen Rückseite steht in hellblauer Schrift:

XX Men´s World Championchip 2007 Germany sowie die in Nationalfarben stilisierte 20 (vermutlich) in arabischer Schrift.

Als Behängung ist eine weiß-blaue Kordel angebracht, die den gesamten Wimpel umfasst.
