Description

Der eMate 300 gehört zur 1993 eingeführten Newton-Serie. Besonders fiel er durch sein transparentes grünes Gehäuse in Form einer Muschelschale zum Schutz der Tastatur auf.
Aus Angst, die Nachfrage könnte das Angebot übersteigen, wurde der eMate erst nur an Bildungseinrichtungen ausgeliefert. Der erhoffte Erfolg stellte sich jedoch nicht ein, so dass schon Ende 1997 die komplette Newton-Serie
eingestellt wurde.
