Stuhl aus schwarz gebeiztem Eschenholz mit hoher gitterförmiger Lehne. Der in Schottland geborene Architekt Charles Rennie Mackintosh (1868-1928) entwarf diesen Stuhl 1903 für sein ganz in Weiß gehaltenes Schlafzimmer. Gerade Linien und rechte Winkel dominierten das gesamte Werk des Designers. Der Stuhl im Lippischen Landesmuseum Detmold ist ein Nachbau der Firma Cassina, Mailand, die ihn 1999 dem Museum stiftete.
