Bei der Dial de Luxe handelt es sich um eine Blechspielzeug-Schreibmaschine des amerikanischen Herstellers „Unique Art Manufacturing Co.“. Wie bei einem Wählscheibentelefon werden die Lettern durch das Drehen einer Scheibe ausgewählt. Durch eine Universaltaste konnte die ausgewählte Letter auf das Papier gedruckt werden. Mittels einer zweiten Taste können Leerstellen erzeugt werden. Die Dial Schreibmaschine wurde von den 1930er-Jahren bis zu den 1940er-Jahren produziert.
